3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic hit a pinch-hit two-run homer on Friday night in the Mariners' 8-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. New York Mets legend Kelenic is off to a slow start in 2022, slashing just .139/.222/.319 with three homers and 10 RBI over 25 games and 72 at-bats. Kelenic struggled in 2021 as well when he slashed just .181/.265/.350, while hitting 14 homers to go with 43 RBI. Hopefully, Friday's homer can jump-start Kelenic's bat and he starts to realize his elite potential.
