Jarlin Garcia Earns First Save Of Season Friday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Jarlin Garcia picked up his first save of the season in Friday's 8-5 extra-innings win over the Dodgers. Garcia entered the game in the 10 inning up by three with Albert Pujols starting on second base. He got the first two outs, then balked Pujols to third, but got Mookie Betts out to end the game. Garcia only saw the save situation because Jake McGee pitched the eighth inning and Tyler Rogers blew the initial save opportunity in the ninth inning. The 28-year-old now has a 4.41 ERA on the season and does not hold fantasy value given his current role in the bullpen.
