Jaren Jackson Jr. Shines Against OKC
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. had a great night against the Thunder Friday, leading all scorers with 25 points and picking up 12 rebounds with two steals and three blocks. He shot 7-for-16 from the field, including 3-for-6 from downtown, and 8-for-11 at the charity stripe. Jackson Jr. logged 25 minutes in what was only his second game of the season. According to reports, Jackson Jr. isn't on a minutes restriction, so his workload should get to 30-plus minutes soon, and it might even be in the next game, with Memphis needing to have its best players on the court for as long as possible after Ja Morant (ankle) picked up an injury Friday.
