Jaren Jackson Jr. Produces Season-High 31 Points
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. put together his biggest offensive performance of the season on Monday, scoring a season-high 31 points in a loss to Indiana. He was perfect from the line with nine attempts and shot 10-for-19 from the field, including 2-for-8 from downtown. His line also included four rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal. It's a shame the Grizzlies haven't yet unleashed Jackson Jr. who's averaging less than 27 minutes per night for the year. He showed what he can do with more playing time on Monday when he logged a team-high 34 minutes. Jackson Jr. gets a really nice matchup next against the Bulls, who have been the worst defensive side against the power forward position this season, and they haven't done much better against centers either.
