Jaren Jackson Jr. Hits Eight Threes In Summer League Debut
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr., the fourth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, put up impressive numbers in the first game of the Utah Summer League. Jackson scored 29 points on 9-for-15 shooting and ended up 8-for-13 from three. He also added three rebounds and a pair of blocks. With Marc Gasol at center, Jackson will mostly play the four this year and the Grizzlies will need him to be able to step out and hit jumpers. This game is an early indication that he'll be more than capable of doing that. Jackson is trending upwards in fantasy after this impressive start, though he didn't show much of his ability to score inside.
