Jaren Jackson Jr. Gets Close To A Double-Double
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. fell just one rebound short of his first double-double of the campaign in Friday's 115-87 loss at Washington. It was a miserable night for the Grizzlies, but Jackson Jr. did a decent job with 13 points, two assists, one steal and two blocks. His shooting could've been a lot better, though, as the 22-year-old finished only 4-for-14 from the field and had a very poor 1-for-6 record from downtown. Memphis will look to produce a big bounce-back effort on Monday against Minnesota. Power forwards have done pretty well against the Timberwolves this season, averaging 21.3 points per 48 minutes with 11.1 rebounds.
