Jaren Jackson Jr. Dominates Defensively Against Mavericks
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was in stingy mood on Monday against the Mavericks, registering four blocks and two steals. He was also solid offensively, shooting 6-for-13 from the field on his way to finishing with 13 points. Jackson Jr. ended up playing a career-high 36 minutes. He's meshed well with the Grizzlies starting unit, as Memphis have now won four straight games. Jackson Jr. has a nice matchup on Wednesday against the Spurs, who have struggled against power forwards this season, allowing them to shoot 52.1 percent from the field, which is the third-worst mark in the league.
