2 years agoLos Angeles first baseman/outfielder Jared Walsh (head) could be activated from the injured list after Friday's game with Triple-A Salt Lake. According to Angels manager Phil Nevin, Walsh wanted to play back-to-back games at first base, so that would be Thursday and Friday. In Thursday's game for Salt Lake, he went 3-for-3 with a double, RBI, four runs scored and two walks. After Friday's game, the Angels will decide if he's ready. The 29-year-old has yet to appear in the big leagues in 2023 due to insomnia and migraines. During his rehab assignment, Walsh hit .412 with one home run, four RBI, and four runs scored across 22 plate appearances. He blasted 29 homers and drove in 98 runs in 2021. Fantasy managers should look to add Walsh as he will look to bounce back in 2023 after slashing .215/.269/.374 last season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
