11 months agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon (undisclosed) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The move came after Spurgeon was limited to 20:15 of ice time in Tuesday's clash with the Flames. It was only his third game back from a lower-body injury. It's unclear if Spurgeon's new ailment is related to his previous injury. 2023-24 has been a rough one for the Wild captain, as health issues have limited him to only 16 appearances. Brock Faber should again become the new leader on the blue line for Minnesota. He had an impressive spell right before Spurgeon returned and is now guaranteed massive minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
