Jared Spurgeon Comes Through Full Practice On Monday
2 months agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon (lower body) practiced fully on Monday and could be ready to rejoin the lineup in Tuesday's matchup against Pittsburgh. The Wild captain has been on the shelf for the past six games with a lower-body injury. Brock Faber has logged massive minutes during Spurgeon's absence, with the rest of the blue line stepping up as well. Spurgeon skated with Jonas Brodin on the first defensive pairing on Monday. Brodin has previously been paired with Zach Bogosian, who has to settle for a lesser role once Spurgeon is back in the lineup.
