5 months agoPittsburgh Pirates rookie starting pitcher Jared Jones (lat) will miss at least a few weeks after suffering an injury during Wednesday's start. The right-hander was pulled from his latest outing after five innings due to a Grade 2 lat strain. Jones was placed on the injured list a day later and is shut down from throwing for the next two weeks. The team will re-evaluate him after that and decide how to ramp him up for the final few months of the season. Fantasy managers should expect to be without Jones for at least the month of July.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
