Jared Cook Has Quiet Game In Win Over Falcons
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook had a quiet day in a Week 11 win over Atlanta. Cook caught his lone target for six yards in Taysom Hill's debut as the starter. There are two ways to view this if you have Cook on your roster. One, Hill's prowess as a runner in the red zone could limit Cook's touchdown chances inside the 20s. Two, Hill's willingness to throw the ball downfield- 10.1 yards per attempt in his first start- could open up more deep-ball opportunities down the middle of the field for Cook. It's best to view the veteran tight end as a fringe TE1 moving forward.
