Jared Cook A TE1 Despite Tough Matchup
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook is a good starting option on Thanksgiving night against the Atlanta Falcons. Cook has exceeded 50 receiving yards in two of the last three games and has a touchdown in back to back contests. The 32-year-old is third in targets on the Saints and is in a nice rhythm with quarterback Drew Brees lately. The Falcons aren't a great matchup for tight ends, ranking 13th in fantasy points allowed to the position. Still, the Panthers weren't either, though that didn't stop Cook from racking up six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. He's too hot to bench right now and should be a TE1 this week.
