Jared Butler Goes For 12 Points, Six Assists On Wednesday
2 years agoUtah Jazz guard Jared Butler played a team-high 27 minutes in Wednesday's Summer League game against the Toronto Raptors. He racked up 12 points, six assists, three steals and two rebounds in the game while shooting 5-for-16 from the field and 2-for-8 from three-point range. Butler had a trainwreck of a performance in his previous outing against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. He shot just 3-for-22 in the game while going 0-for-10 from downtown. If the Jazz wind up trading both Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley this summer, Butler could become a trendy fantasy sleeper. The 21-year-old played sparingly as a rookie last year, but has the tools to be a solid source of assists and three-pointers if the minutes are there.
