Japanese Veteran Takashi Sato Looks To Crack .500 In UFC
4 years agoTakashi Sato (15-3) suffered his first loss in the UFC in his last outing against Belal Muhammad. Sato has an impressive finishing rate, with 12 of his wins coming by way of finish. In his UFC debut, Sato went toe-to-toe with veteran Ben Saunders and finished the veteran via TKO ground and pound. In an interview with UFC in April 2019, Sato stated, “I am from judo but I have acquired good striking, too, and also, I am always thinking during the fight and that is probably the reason why I have been able to produce good results. “Also, I am always looking to finish my opponent, and because of this personality, I think I have a good finishing percentage.” With his mindset and proven track record, it's easy to see Sato coming out aggressive to control the bout.
