3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder (calf) missed practice on Thursday and seems like he'll miss Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well. This benefits hardly anyone since Zach Wilson's offense is already something of a dumpster fire and Crowder's backups are the likes of Keelan Cole and Denzel Mims. Perhaps Braxton Berrios may be worth a desperate play in full-PPR leagues, but fantasy managers should hope that a better option arises. If Crowder does miss, the biggest upgrade is actually for the Buccaneers defense; with Wilson throwing to no one of note and Michael Carter being shut down by the best run defense in the league, the Buccaneers D/ST could have a field day in this easy matchup. With all of that said, if Crowder plays, however, he becomes an interesting start as a waiver wire pickup or in DFS as the Jets may have no choice but to throw to him.--Jordan Eisen
