Jamie Drysdale Provides Only Ducks Goal In Sunday's Loss
4 years agoAnaheim Ducks defenseman Jamie Drysdale scored the team's only goal in Sunday's 4-1 home loss to Colorado with Troy Terry and Sam Carrick collecting the assists. It's Drysdale's second career goal in 11 games. The highly-rated blueliner has so far picked up five points with 13 shots, adding seven blocks and three hits. The 18-year-old has started to see some really good ice time in recent games, logging 21-plus minutes three times in his past four appearances. He skates on the second defensive pairing and has taken up a spot on the second power-play unit. The Ducks meet the league's fourth-worst defensive team next when they have a pair of road outings against San Jose, which should help their offense to get going again -- this was the fifth time in six games Anaheim scored two or fewer goals, the only exception was a 5-1 win over the Sharks.
