Jameson Taillon Placed On 10-Day Injured List
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a partially torn tendon in his right ankle. It's not yet clear when he sustained the injury- though it's another blow to a Yankee rotation that is already dealing with injuries to ace Gerrit Cole (hamstring) and righty Domingo German (shoulder). Taillon enjoyed a relatively clean bill of health up until this point, pitching to an 8-6 record, 4.41 ERA with a 136:42 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 138 2/3 innings this season. Manager Aaron Boone said that Taillon received a PRP injection and could return this season. With only a handful of starts remaining, fantasy managers can likely drop Taillon if there are options on the waiver wire.
