Jameson Taillon Activated And Set To Start On Tuesday
3 years agoThe New York Yankees activated starting pitcher Jameson Taillon (ankle) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Fellow pitcher Albert Abreu was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Taillon is set to start Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 29-year-old right-hander has been out since September 6 after partially tearing a tendon in his right ankle. He's had a bit of a rough first season with the Yankees. Over 27 starts, he's gone 8-6 with a 4.41 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. He's a risky start in DFS or for championship week in season-long formats against a tough Blue Jays offense.
