James Washington Likely To Take Step Back Against Jets
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington will return to WR2 duties against the New York Jets on Sunday. JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) was cleared to play and did not carry an injury designation on Friday, allowing him to return after missing the last four games. Washington has performed admirably since taking over the WR1 duties in Week 12. He's hauled in 16 of 26 targets for 325 yards and two touchdowns over the last four weeks, and while the Jets are a favorable matchup, the return of Smith-Schuster along with Devlin Hodges at quarterback, Washington shouldn't be viewed as a great fantasy choice. He might return WR4 value if he's able to find the end zone.
