4 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk collected another two goals to help guide his team to a 5-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday. Both of Van Riemsdyk's tallies came on the man advantage and he also added a game-high seven shots on goal in 16:58 of ice time in the contest. Following one of the worst individual seasons of his career in 2019-2020 (40 point in 66 games), the 31-year-old is off to a scorching start thus far sitting at a point-per-game (five goals, two assists in seven games) to go along with four power-play points and 20 shots.
