James Robinson Will Become Free Agent
2 years agoNew York Jets running back James Robinson will not be tendered by the organization, which makes him a free agent. The 24-year-old was acquired by the team mid-season, but only ended up playing in four games with the team. He is more than a year removed from a torn Achilles that he suffered at the end of the 2021 season. Robinson has shown promise as he rushed for over 1,000 yards during his rookie season. There should be organizations willing to give him a chance to earn a role as a depth option. It's hard to predict his fantasy value without knowing where he's going. However, Robinson is unlikely to be a starter anywhere and would most likely be a change-of-pace back. It's safe to assume he probably won't have a lot of value heading into next season.
