James Reimer Stays Unbeaten On Tuesday
4 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender James Reimer picked up his fourth victory of the campaign in backstopping his team to a 4-3 shootout win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday. The 32-year-old stopped 30 of 33 shots against in the contest, improving his season numbers to a 2.19 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage through four appearances. With starting netminder Petr Mrazek sidelined indefinitely due to an upper-body injury, Reimer has taken the reigns in the crease and ran with them. Just 49% owned in Yahoo! leagues, fantasy owners would be wise to consider scooping up Reimer prior to his next projected start versus the Hawks on Thursday.
