Following an upsetting loss to the lowly Ottawa Senators in which Florida Panthers starter Roberto Luongo allowed five goals on 25 shots, head coach Bob Boughner tapped James Reimer for that start against the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Reimer proved up to the task, turning away all 46 shots he faced from the hobbled Bruins side. It was only the second time this season the Bruins had been shut out, the first coming all the way back in their second game of the year. The shutout brings Reimer’s season total to three, each of which have come against divisional teams. Reimer has picked up his play since a rough January, winning four of his last five starts, but he has seen his role reduced with Luongo’s return from injury. Reimer is still well worth streaming when he gets starts. Be sure to keep an eye on him.--Kevin Acorn
