1 year agoDetroit Red Wings goalie James Reimer is set to make his debut with the team on Monday, where he will start in goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Reimer was signed this summer to back up Ville Husso, who started Detroit's first two games this season. He will need to improve on his 2022-23 numbers to be effective in that role, as he posted a 3.48 GAA and .890 SV% in 43 games last season. Considering he was with the terrible San Jose Sharks, he should be able to build on those numbers and be a competent backup. He is a streaming option on Monday against a Blue Jacket team that will also be starting their backup.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
