James Paxton Traded To Yankees
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton was traded to the New York Yankees on Monday night for a package including top-rated pitching prospect Justus Sheffield. Paxton put up an 11-6 record in 2018 to go along with a 3.76 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 208/42 K/BB ratio. Paxton is a massive addition to the Yankees rotation and immediately skyrockets his fantasy value. He is a legitimate ace, as long as he can stay healthy, and now has one of the best lineups in baseball backing him up. Paxton is a fringe SP1 for the 2019 fantasy season with this deal.
