James Outman Not Playing On Friday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder James Outman (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs. The left-handed slugger has been off to a hot start to the season. He's hitting .289 with three home runs and 10 RBI through the first 12 games of the season. However, it appears the Dodgers are going to give Outman a routine rest day here against a left-handed starter. Trayce Thompson will play center field and bat fifth against lefty Justin Steele on Friday.
