5 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder James Outman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday. Outman has had three homers and eight RBI in June, along with a .226 batting average. The 27-year-old was optioned to Triple-A by the Dodgers on May 17. Since then, he has hit .292 with six homers, 16 RBI, and a .987 OPS. With Mookie Betts (hand) set to miss time, Outman could be on the radar for a call-up to the major leagues. He hit just .147 in 109 at-bats with the Dodgers this season, but his numbers since his demotion to the minors have been good, and they suggest he may be ready for another shot in L.A.
