James O’Shaughnessy, Michael Colubiale Get H-Back Snaps
5 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars have been using two of their tight ends -- undrafted rookie Michael Colubiale and veteran James O’Shaughnessy -- in an H-back role during training camp. Essentially, the two are being used in a role that's part fullback and part tight end. If one of the two can impress in that role as a blocker and pass-catcher during training camp, we could see them used that way during the regular season. While neither player gets much fantasy relevance on his own, their usage in this way could theoretically cut down on rookie tight end Josh Oliver's usage. Oliver has been mentioned as a sleeper pick by a lot of people this year, but he needs everything to go right for him to have fantasy relevance off the bat.
