6 years agoDetroit Tigers starting catcher James McCann was the hero on Monday night, knocking in the go-ahead run with an RBI double in the ninth inning off of Royals reliever Jason Hammel. The double was part of a 3-for-4 day for McCann, as he also had another single that plated a run in the 5-4 comeback victory for the Tigers. On the season, McCann sports a .233/.280/.338 slash line, adding 6 HR, 30 RBI, and 20 runs scored. He definitely has limited upside as a hitter, even for the shallow catcher position, but he's worth considering as a streamer given the right matchup.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
