James Karinchak Takes Loss Monday
3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher James Karinchak had a forgettable day as he allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and a walk in the bottom of the eighth inning of game one of a doubleheader in the Indians 8-6 loss to the White Sox. Karinchak will need to put this one behind him as it is always a difficult situation to come into extra innings with the runner on second base. He compounded things by walking Yermin Mercedes with two out and then giving up a home run to Adam Eaton. He will look to get back on the horse in his next outing as he still boasts a 2.28 ERA with 42 strikeouts across 23 2/3 innings pitched.
