James Kaprielian Has A Successful Sim Game
3 years agoOakland Athletics pitcher James Kaprielian (shoulder) took part in a simulation game at one of the team's minor league complexes on Sunday. The right-hander threw 45 pitches and both Kaprielian and A's manager Mark Kotsay were happy with the results. Kotsay told the media, "Kap's right on track," and deemed Sunday "a good day." The 28-year-old was diagnosed with AC joint inflammation in his right shoulder this spring and he was placed on the injured list to open the season. He is scheduled to pitch again on Friday. If he continues to progress without any setbacks, we could see him make his 2022 debut in late April.
