James Johnson Signs With Indiana
2 years agoFree-agent forward James Johnson agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the Indiana Pacers. Johnson, 35, most recently played for the Brooklyn Nets, finishing the 2021-22 campaign by averaging 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 46.9% from the field and 27.1% from deep. The veteran has a considerable amount of professional experience under his belt, so the team may keep him around beyond training camp to provide leadership and guidance to Indy's youthful roster. If that's the case, Johnson could receive some minutes, potentially even making a few starts this season. However, he likely won't be a consistent fantasy producer.
