James Harden Will Miss Friday’s Contest
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard James Harden (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Jazz due to a tight left hamstring. Harden's absence -- along with that of Kevin Durant (knee) -- elevates Kyrie Irving to the highest DFS tier, seeing his ceiling rise exponentially. Harden, one of two players in the league averaging a double-double on points and assists (Chris Paul being the other), has dished out at least nine dimes in 11 straight contests. His absence paves the way for Patty Mills and Cameron Thomas to step into larger roles, elevating their respective DFS upsides. Harden's next chance to suit up comes Sunday vs. Denver.

James Harden Ruled Out For Wednesday
2 months agoLos Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Harden will now miss his third game of the season and the front end of this back-to-back set. Hopefully, Harden will be feeling good enough to suit up for Thursday's contest against the Washington Wizards. The Clippers are going to be extremely shorthanded for this game. That means, Kevin Porter Jr., Bones Hyland, and Terance Mann should all see bigger roles in the rotation. Between the three, Porter is the best and most consistent streaming choice of them.

James Harden Could Miss Wednesday's Game
2 months agoLos Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Harden was uncertain to play on Monday, but he suited up and played 35 minutes in the loss to the Chicago Bulls. He struggled as he only knocked down five shots from the floor, so possibly the groin injury was impacting his performance. The Clippers would likely use a committee approach to fill the void if Harden was unable to play. Out of everyone, Kevin Porter Jr. would likely gain the most streaming value if Harden is unavailable for Wednesday's contest.

James Harden Will Play On Monday Night
2 months agoLos Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (groin) will play on Monday night versus the Bulls. The multi-time All-Star was under the weather for Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers. But that didn't stop him from finishing with 21 points, 12 assists, and one steal. Harden has had his best season in years, and he could be even more productive against the Bulls with Kawhi Leonard (illness) and Ivica Zubac (eye) sidelined.

James Harden Likely Playing On Monday
2 months agoTomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports that despite dealing with right groin soreness, Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (groin) is probable for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Harden played through an illness on Sunday but still managed to finish with 21 points, four rebounds, 12 assists, and one steal across 40 minutes. Fantasy managers, if the 35-year-old is available, expect him to be an excellent fantasy option, especially with Kawhi Leonard (knee) getting the night off to rest.
