James Harden Sets Up Teammates In Triple-Less Double-Double
4 years agoA major concern for fantasy managers upon the realization of the Nets' Big 3 was that one of the trio would be left out when it came to their usual monster fantasy production. During Saturday's win over the Heat, that member was James Harden, even though he finished the contest with 12 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds. Harden has reiterated that he has been all about wins since arriving with the Nets, and his pass-first mentality was evident Saturday as he took just eight shots across 38 minutes. Five of those looks came from behind the arc, with none falling, marking his first game this year without a made triple, a feat that he accomplished only twice last season. How Harden -- and his price tag -- adjusts ahead of a rematch between the two teams Monday remains to be seen, but he'll be susceptible to performances such as Saturday occasionally moving forward, further increasing his DFS volatility.
