James Harden Scores 60 Points In Just Three Quarters
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard James Harden was close to posting a new career record on Saturday, finishing a 158-111 win over Atlanta with 60 points. The Rockets had an incredible shooting night and thus Harden played only three quarters. He shot 16-for-24 from the field and 8-for-14 from deep while sinking 20 of 23 free throws. He also picked up eight assists, three steals, and a block. Harden now has four career 60-point games, which have him tied with Michael Jordan for third-most in NBA history. He's the only active player to post a 60-point performance more than once. The Rockets now head to San Antonio to take on the Spurs, who have been a mess defensively all season. It's another juicy matchup for the 2018 MVP.
