James Harden Matches Career High With 17 Assists
2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard James Harden assisted everybody and their mother Monday night against Washington, matching his career high with 17 assists in a 118-111 road win. He added 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting to complete his fourth double-double of the campaign and registered seven rebounds with two steals and four turnovers in 38 minutes. The Beard might not be as an active scorer as he used to be anymore, but he remains a very productive player for fantasy teams and his playmaking can be godly at times. The Wizards will be in trouble against Harden again Wednesday night. Joel Embiid (illness) might be back for that one as well, which will drop De'Anthony Melton from the starting unit. He had 16 points in Monday's win, while Tyrese Maxey continued his hot stretch with a 28-point effort.
