James Cook Has Possible Flex Value
2 years agoBuffalo Bills running back James Cook put together his best rushing performance of the season versus the Chicago Bears last week. The rookie back rushed 11 times for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 victory. The Bills struggled to pass the ball, so they went run-heavy during this contest. That is expected to change against the Cincinnati Bengals tough run defense in Week 17. This defensive unit has allowed the sixth-lowest amount of rushing yards per game. Cook should still remain involved, but Devin Singletary is still the lead back on this offense. That being said, Cook shouldn't be viewed as anything more than a somewhat risky flex option for Week 17.
