James Conner With Fantasy Dud In Week 12
12 months agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner rushed six times for 27 yards and brought in four of five targets for five yards in the team's 37-14 Week 12 loss to the Rams on Sunday. With Arizona down 13 points at halftime, much of Conner's day fell victim to game script, as the Cardinals were forced to pass more in the second half. Conner's yardage was a season-low, as he struggled to find solid running lanes en route to putting up a fantasy clunker. The Cardinals also gave additional carries to teammates Michael Carter and Emari Demercado once the game got out of hand, further limiting Conner's opportunities. While this game was a bummer from a fantasy perspective, Conner and the rest of the Arizona offense will look to put this dud behind them when they head to Pittsburgh in Week 13 to take on the Steelers.
