3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2021 fantasy season. Entering Week 14, Conner is tied for second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns with 12. Since fellow running back Chase Edmonds went down with an injury Conner has put up RB1 numbers weekly, likely earning more of the timeshare of this backfield when Edmonds makes his return. Arizona has opened the 21-day window for Edmonds' return, capping Conner's upside when both players are active. Conner and the Cardinals face a Los Angeles Rams defense that is giving up the ninth fewest points to opposing running backs. With the possible return of Edmonds and a tough Week 14 matchup, Conner projects more as a low-end RB2.--Aaron Knight
