5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (shoulder) missed practice for the second day in a row on Thursday, and it's looking more likely that he'll be inactive on Sunday against the Colts in Week 9. With Benny Snell (knee) out multiple weeks after meniscus surgery, Jaylen Samuels is on track to return to lead this backfield against Indianapolis. If Conner can't play, Samuels would have RB2 upside as a plug-and-play running back. Trey Edmunds would likely back him up. After the best game of his season on Monday against the lowly Dolphins, Conner is in serious danger of sitting out this weekend. You need to prepare as if he won't play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
