James Conner Out Against Ravens
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (quadriceps) will not play in the 2019 regular season finale against the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced on Friday. Conner went down with the leg injury against the Jets last Sunday and will cede the starting role to Benny Snell Jr., who rushed for just 14 yards on seven carries last Sunday. The rookie isn't a great option against a Ravens Defense that has allowed just 10 rushing touchdowns to backs this season, although they'll be resting most of their starters this weekend. Snell is an RB3, at best, and you could definitely do better for DFS purposes. Jaylen Samuels, Kerrith Whyte Jr. and Trey Edmunds will likely be involved in the backfield as well in this must-win contest.
