James Conner, JuJu Smith-Schuster Will Not Play
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (shoulder) and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion, knee) won't be on the field for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Conner had five carries for 10 yards in Week 11 before exiting after re-aggravating his shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Smith-Schuster took a hit to the head, on a pass over the middle, in the same game and was forced to leave. Both absences leave the Steelers very empty handed on offense. Look for Jaylen Samuels and either Trey Edmunds or Benny Snell Jr. to share the backfield duties, while Diontae Johnson (concussion) and James Washington to be the primary targets in the passing game.
