James Conner, JuJu Smith-Schuster Exit Game With Injuries
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (shoulder) and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) were forced to leave Thursday night's game against the Cleveland Browns. Conner, who missed the last two games with the shoulder injury, aggravated it early in the game, while Smith-Schuster got sandwiched on a tackle in between multiple Browns defenders in the second quarter and immediately fell to the ground. If both players are forced to miss extended time, this Steelers offense becomes completely devoid of playmaking talent. Look for Vance McDonald, James Washington, Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmunds to receive immediate opportunities if Conner and Smith-Schuster miss additional time.
