2 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner rushed the ball 14 times for 42 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for 12 yards in their 38-10 loss to the 49ers on Monday night. The offense struggled to run the ball, averaging 2.8 yards per carry against a stout 49ers defense. The 27-year-old has a nose for the end zone, which saved his day in this one because he had only 54 total scrimmage yards. He did account for 14 of the 19 (74%) backfield attempts, plus he had five targets, both of which are good signs moving forward.
