James Conner Doubtful To Face Colts
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (shoulder) hasn't practiced all week and is doubtful for Week 9 against the Colts. It's a shame after Conner had his best game of the season last Monday night, but you'll need to remove him from your starting lineups with Sunday approaching. He'll be questionable to return in Week 10. Benny Snell (knee) will be out multiple weeks as well, so this will be Jaylen Samuels' backfield in a good matchup with the Colts. He'll have low-end RB1 upside as the expected bell-cow back with Conner injured. Trey Edmunds should serve in a change-of-pace role, but he's unlikely to have standalone value.
