6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday, but offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner said he doesn't think Conner needs to practice in order to play in Week 15 against the Patriots. Conner is a long shot to play if he doesn't at least practice on Friday. It's looking doubtful. Rookie Jaylen Samuels saw most of the work last week and would once again be in play as an RB2 if Conner misses another game. Stevan Ridley would back Samuels up and would be a low-end RB3/flex.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
