6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said that quarterback Jameis Winston will return as the starter in 2019. Winston had a three-game suspension to begin the 2018 season and was benched during the middle of the season for Ryan Fitzpatrick. He'll only be 25 next week, however, and the Bucs think there is still improvement to be made. The QB class in the draft is also weak and there won't be much to pick from in free agency either. Winston has QB1 upside in the right matchups with solid receivers around him, but his problems with turnovers keep coming back to bite him. He'll be a solid QB2 target in fantasy drafts next year, and Tampa is hoping he can finally take that next step.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
