Jamal Murray Out Against Clippers
7 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (concussion) will miss his first game of his young career Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Murray took a blow to the head from teammate Mason Plumlee in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks and stayed in the game. According to Nuggets writer Harrison Wind, Murray was seen "clutching his head" during timeouts and other game stoppages, yet still remained in the game. In his absence, guards Emmanuel Mudiay and Will Barton will see increased ball-handling duties for the near future. Barton is the better option for standard leagues while Mudiay would be a risky, yet cheap option for DFS contests.

Jamal Murray Iffy For Monday
1 day agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (ankle) is considered questionable for Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Murray has been on the injury report for much of the season due to inflammation in his left knee, but he hurt his right ankle on Saturday against the Washington Wizards, and this new injury may prevent him from playing on Monday night. Nikola Jokic (elbow, ankle) is also uncertain for Monday night, so the keys to the offense could be handed to Russell Westbrook.

Jamal Murray Will Play On Saturday Night
2 days agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is cleared to play on Saturday against Washington. He popped up on the injury report late in the day because of left knee inflammation. As such, most expected the veteran would sit this one out after going for 26 points in 39 minutes in Friday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers. With that said, Murray should remain in all redraft lineups. However, he's a risky DFS option, considering the Nuggets could build up a decisive lead over arguably the worst team in the NBA, meaning he may spend more time on the bench.

Jamal Murray Added To Saturday's Injury Report
2 days agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is now questionable for Saturday's meeting with the Wizards. The veteran played 39 minutes in Friday's narrow win over the Los Angeles Lakers, amassing 26 points and shooting 5-for-9 from behind the three-point line. But because the Nuggets will play the Wizards, arguably the worst team in the National Basketball Association, it may be the perfect time to give the oft-injured Murray the night off. If that happens, Russell Westbrook, who had 17 points, seven assists, and six boards against his former team on Friday, will likely move into the starting lineup.

Jamal Murray Good To Go Friday Night
3 days agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) will suit up for Friday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been upgraded from probable to available before tip-off. The Canadian star will continue to play despite dealing with inflammation in his left knee. Murray struggled in the last game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 12 points on 4-for-15 shooting, but he has had a good campaign overall. Over six March outings, Murray has averaged 22.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.3 steals.
