Jamal Murray Could Miss Contest Against Lakers
9 months agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (ankle) suffered a sprained ankle on Thursday during the second quarter of their game against the Miami Heat. He was able to walk off the floor under his own power but showed a noticeable limp. The team has been using a cautious approach with Murray due to the various leg injuries that have kept him out of 16 different games this year. With that being said, they're determined to stay with the same approach heading into their game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Head coach Michael Malone said that if he can't play up to his usual standard and be effective, then they're not going to risk any further injury. The official injury report hasn't been released yet.
